With thousands of acres of national forest at the back door, there are plenty of hunting opportunities. Elk are the most popular, in addition to the mule deer, black bear, and mountain lion seasons.

Note: There is absolutely no hunting or target shooting on the yurt property due to the proximity to roads and adjoining trails.
